Health signs.
Body Temperature.100.5 -101.5F (38.1C - 38.6C) but may be as high as 101.8 (38.8C) in stressful situations such as at the vet's surgery.
Pulse.70 beats per minute in large dogs; 120 beats per minute in small dogs. These rates are based on the animal being at rest excitement or fear may increase the rate.
Respiratory Rate.10 - 30 breaths per minute at rest or maybe higher after exertion. Smaller animals tend to breathe faster.
